Giusy Fanaro

Giusy comes from Termoli, Italy. After completing her education at Scuola Balletto di Roma and AED Livorno, she was admitted to the Swiss university ZHdK, where she graduated in June 2022. Throughout this time, she has worked and collaborated with international choreographers, including Nadav Zelner, Luca Signoretti, Winston Arnon, Caroline Finn, Ihsan Rustem, Alba Castillo, Bryan Arias, Sergei Vanaev, Marcel Leeman, Marco Cantalupo, and Tabea Martin, among others.
In the 2021/2022 season, she completed an internship with the Stadttheater Bremerhaven. In the following years, Giusy was highly active in the international dance scene, engaged by both institutional companies and freelance project work. In October 2022, she took part in the production ‚Confessio‘ with Leeman Physical Dance Theater. In August 2023, Giusy worked as a guest dancer for a production at the Opernhaus Zürich. In May 2024, she participated in the Tanzfest Zentralschweiz for the «Local Choreo-Lab» with choreographies by Luca Signoretti. Since May 2023, she has been a member of the Swiss-based company Snorkel Rabbit, directed by Alba Castillo and Bryan Arias.
Giusy is currently based in Switzerland and works as a freelance dancer, choreographer, and teacher.
